Temporary Lane Closure of Miccosukee Road between Capital Circle NE and Fleischmann Road
Beginning on Monday, May 4, through Friday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, there will be a temporary lane closure of Miccosukee Road between Capital Circle NE and Fleischmann Road. This closure is necessary for milling and resurfacing work as part of the Leon County Miccosukee Road Milling and Resurfacing Project.
The initial phase of the lane closure will be for the southbound lane. Southbound traffic on Miccosukee Road will be detoured north onto Fleischmann Road then west onto Welaunee Boulevard then south onto Capital Circle NE to Miccosukee Road. Northbound traffic will not be detoured during this phase.
The final phase of the lane closure will be for the northbound lane. Northbound traffic will be detoured north onto Capital Circle NE then east onto Welaunee Boulevard then south onto Fleischmann Road to Miccosukee Road. Southbound traffic will not be detoured during this phase.
Weather conditions such as heavy rain, severe storms, extreme heat, and freezing temperatures can affect construction schedules on County projects.
