If using a browser: 

1.   Go to panhandle.overdrive.com

2.   Click Sign in

3.   Select LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System

4.   Sign in with the library card number.

From the Libby app:

1.   Tap the Libby icon in the upper right corner.

2.   Select Add a Library

3.   Add Panhandle Library Access Network

4.   Log in again. If the app doesn’t ask for a log in immediately, it will ask when the first item is checked out.

•   All existing holds and checkouts will migrate.
•  The checkout limit is five, and the hold limit is ten. These are the consortium limits. We will investigate whether this limit can be raised.

RBdigital Magazines

NEA Big Read - Leon County Events!

Throughout February and March, we're hosting a variety of events for all ages. These events are inspired by the book Lab Girl by Hope Jahren. 

Free copies of the book are available at all Library locations while supplies last.

A sneak peek of what's to come: 

• Throughout February and March: Book Discussions of Lab Girl and similar titles with special guest hosts from the Tallahassee Scientific Society and NAMI Tallahassee
• February 15 @ 6:30 p.m.: Memoir Writing Workshop with the Tallahassee Writers Association
• February 20 @ 11:00 a.m.: Tree Planting and Care in Leon County with Mark Tancig from UF/IFAS Extension
• March 4 @ 6:30 p.m.: Leon County Mental Health Panel with Capital Regional Medical Center, Apalachee Center and 211 Big Bend
• March 11 @ 4:00 p.m.: Teen Memoir Zine Workshop
• March 23 @ 6:30 p.m.: Robotics & Coding 101 for Kids  with STEMS4Girls

African American Read-In

Tuesday, February 23 at 6:30 p.m.

This year we'll be going virtual. From 6:30-7:00 p.m., members of the community will read African American authored works for children and families.

From 7:00-7:30p.m., we invite the public to read their favorite African American story (5 minutes per reader).

Spring Seed Library

Time for the Spring 2021 Seed Library!  Beginning Saturday, February 13, visit any library branch location and check out up to three seed packets each month. No need to return them, they are yours to keep. 

Seeds are also available for curbside pickup. When you arrive, call the number on the sign and let them know which 3 seed packets you'd like.

Varieties include:

• A&C Pickling Cucumber
• Jackson Wonder Lima Bean
• Edisto 47 Muskmelon
• Burmese Okra

The Seed Library Kickoff event with UF/IFAS Extension-Leon County, featuring a live virtual cooking demonstration and growing tips, will be Saturday, February 13th at 10 a.m.
