A Message from the Library Director
April is the height of new things in bloom. If you haven't picked up your seeds from the Seed Library, get moving! It will soon be time to harvest! In transplanting mode? Check out some gardening tools from the Library of Things or some gardening books from both our digital and print collections. I love this time of year because it breathes new life into our home and community. From the Title Wave Used Book Sale to Autism Acceptance Month events and resources, the Library continues to work hard to meet the needs of this community that we love so much.
And I would be remiss if I did not tip my hat to our wonderful library workers (National Library Workers Day is April 5). They have been the glue that holds this library system together amid the challenges and changes of the past two years. I salute all of the work these unsung heroes do everyday, from assisting with computers to helping select books for reluctant readers. Their ability to find answers to some of the most obscure questions with grace and ease makes me proud to work with them and be a part of this generous group of people. To all library workers in the world, thank you for what you do!

Join us for a First Friday Kickoff at Railroad Square Art Park featuring artwork celebrating autism and neurodiversity. Attendees are invited to visit exhibits at Able Artists Gallery and Obsessions Gift Shop and watch a performance by Pyramid School’s rock band The Electric People. More information.
