Leon County Presents Bicentennial Celebration with Trailblazer T-Pain Live at the Adderley Amphitheater

Leon County Government proudly announces a highlight of Leon County’s Bicentennial celebration: GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, producer, songwriter, entrepreneur, global cultural icon and Tallahassee trailblazer T-Pain will perform live at the Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 19, 2024, at noon.

"It is a special honor for us to welcome T-Pain, a proud native of Leon County, to the Adderley Amphitheater in Cascades Park,” said Leon County Commission Chair Carolyn D. Cummings. “His return to Tallahassee during our Bicentennial year is a highly anticipated event, and celebrating his success and talent in his hometown is a point of pride for our community.”

A Leon County native, T-Pain has significantly influenced pop, hip-hop, and R&B music since emerging in 2004. With over 50 million singles sold and billions of streams, he has achieved 10 iconic #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and has sold out shows across multiple continents. T-Pain's versatility extends beyond music; he is a prominent Twitch streamer, label head of Nappy Boy Entertainment, podcast host, expert drift driver, actor, author and more.

“Leon County is committed to the quality of life of its residents and visitors,” said Leon County Administrator Vincent S. Long. “Hosting a local artist who has grown into a world-renowned talent is a tribute to the County’s celebration of community and growth and a great way to celebrate our bicentennial year.”

The concert will culminate a weekend of Bicentennial events and activities in and around Cascades Park. The weekend will commemorate the 200th anniversary of the first territorial legislative session held in Tallahassee in November 1824, solidifying Tallahassee-Leon County’s position as the capital of Florida.

Tickets are $63 for general admission, $87 for P2 Reserved Seating, and $99 for P1 Reserved Seating.

About T-Pain:
T-Pain has not only changed the course of pop, hip-hop and R&B, but has reshaped the fabric of culture itself. He’s sold over 50 million singles, accumulated billions of streams, racked up 10 iconic #1s on the Billboard Hot 100 and captivated the world with his charismatic live performances, earning a reputation as a global phenomenon. The artist’s recent viral sensations On Top of The Covers (Live From The Sun Rose) (based on acclaimed covers album On Top of The Covers), and powerful singles “On This Hill” and “Dreaming” are out now via his own Nappy Boy Entertainment. Since emerging in 2004, the Tallahassee trailblazer’s influence has transcended generations in music and more; the iconic artist won the first season of FOX’s The Masked Singer after stunning audiences with his soulful, non-Auto-Tuned voice, and he boasts one of the most-watched Tiny Desk sessions and Hot Ones interviews of all time. He shines as a Twitch phenomenon and uber popular streamer, head of his own Nappy Boy Entertainment and Nappy Boy Automotive, podcast host, director and editor, expert drift driver, actor, author and spokesperson. Recipient of the 2023 Soul Train Legend Award and Billboard’s May cover artist, the in-demand collaborator recently teamed with Jelly Roll to re-imagine Toby Keith’s “Should’ve Been A Cowboy;” and the track landed on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart (marking the first time T-Pain has appeared there during his illustrious career). His song with Meghan Trainor, “Been Like This,” is still climbing the Top 40 Chart, and he released a full album with Nappy Boy Entertainment artist, producer and songwriter Young Ca$h as The Bluez Brothaz this past spring. He’ll continue rolling out more new music, performing as a resident artist at Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub (Resorts World Las Vegas) and touring throughout 2024 which includes an outing with Pitbull on the Party After Dark Tour later this summer.
