Leon County Excellence in Volunteer Management Training Series Now
     Open for Registration       

Enhance your skills in managing and engaging volunteers effectively

 
WHO:  Leon County Government
WHAT:  Excellence in Volunteer Management Training
WHEN:  March 19-21, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WHERE:  Leon County ORS Gathering Room, 1907 S. Monroe Street

Leon County Government invites community members to participate in the annual Excellence in Volunteer Management Training Series, scheduled for March 19-21, 2025. This comprehensive program fosters a stronger community by equipping volunteer coordinators with the skills needed to meet national standards, ensure cohesive and efficient volunteer engagement, and develop professional growth opportunities for coordinators.  

The three-day training consists of six courses, covering essential aspects of volunteer management. Participants who complete all six courses will receive the Excellence in Volunteer Management Certificate. The full series is available for $150, with completion of all sessions required for the certification, and registration is required by Friday, March 14, 2025. This training series is ideal for volunteer coordinators, nonprofit leaders, program managers, and anyone responsible for overseeing volunteers. Participants will gain practical tools to strengthen volunteer engagement, improve program efficiency, and enhance leadership skills.

The sessions will be conducted by the experienced team from VolunteerLEON, who bring extensive volunteer management and coordination expertise. Established over two decades ago, the program has equipped more than 300 graduates with the skills needed to manage volunteers effectively.
