Leon County Board of County Commissioners Installation and Reorganization Ceremony Scheduled for November 19

WHAT:  Installation and Reorganization of the Board
WHEN:  Tuesday, November 19, at 3 p.m.
WHERE:  Leon County Courthouse, 301 S. Monroe Street, Commission Chambers
 

An Installation and Reorganization Ceremony for the Leon County Board of County Commissioners will be held on Tuesday, November 19, at 3 p.m. in Commission Chambers, located on the fifth floor of the Leon County Courthouse, 301 South Monroe Street.

The ceremony will include Chief Judge Francis Allman and Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Gwen Knight.

During the Installation and Swearing-In Ceremony, re-elected Commissioners Christian Caban, Brian Welch, and Carolyn D. Cummings will take the Oath of Office.

During the Reorganization Ceremony, the Board will elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman for the 2024/2025 year.

After the ceremony, the Board will reconvene at 4 p.m. for its regularly scheduled meeting.
