County to Host Woodville Community Meeting

This meeting will provide updates on recent accomplishments, ongoing projects, and future initiatives aimed at enhancing connectivity and livability in the Woodville area. County representatives will discuss topics such as recent park enhancements, infrastructure improvements, septic-to-sewer conversion, disaster preparedness resources, and more.
Residents will also have the opportunity to visit informational tables from various County departments, including Public Works, Parks & Recreation, Emergency Management, and others. These will offer residents a chance to ask questions and learn more about available programs and services. Printed materials and handouts will also be available, including disaster preparedness information, Woodville Branch Library programs, information on the Septic Upgrade Incentive Program, and so much more.
Finally, in addition to the County departments in attendance, community partners, including Legal Services of North Florida, Second Harvest of the Big Bend, and Bond Community Health Center, will also be present to share information about their services and resources available to the Woodville community. Attendance and participation for this meeting will be in-person only.
Anyone wishing to appeal the action of the Board with regard to any matter discussed at this event will need a record of the proceedings and should ensure that a verbatim record is made. Such record should include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes.
Please note: More than one member of the Board of County Commissioners may be in attendance at this meeting. Subjects that may come before the Board of County Commissioners in the future may be discussed. In such an instance, this meeting would constitute a special meeting of the Leon County Board of County Commissioners.
