Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection Events

Hazardous Waste:

Don't trash it, let us handle it

Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection Events are held on the first Saturday of the month between September and May at the Public Works Operations Center, 2280 Miccosukee Rd.  We also participate in the City of Tallahassee's Cash-For-Trash events on the third Saturdays of April and October at the City of Tallahassee Solid Waste Services Facility, 2727 Municipal Way.

During the September 2014 to May 2015 season, 3,734 citizens dropped off 53.8 tons of hazardous waste and 45.1 tons of electronic scrap at our collection events.  Thank you for your support.

You don't have to wait!  The Hazardous Waste Center is open six days a week.
