Food on the Move Bus To Stop at Ft. Braden Branch Library

WHO: Leon County
WHAT: Food on the Move Summer Youth Lunch Program
WHEN: June through August 11
WHERE: Ft. Braden Branch Library, 16327 Blountstown Hwy.

This summer, Leon County has partnered with America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend and Whole Child Leon to host a Food on the Move stop at the Ft. Braden Branch Library, 16327 Blountstown Hwy.

Food on the Move, a mobile feeding bus, fills a critical need among children living in food deserts and rural areas during summer months, when school-issued free or reduced-price meals are out of reach.

Following each lunchtime visit, the Fort Braden Branch Library will host a storytime program for children of all ages.

The Food On The Move bus will stop at the Fort Braden Branch Library every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. beginning in June and ending August 11. The program is limited to children ages 18 and under. No registration is required. All meals must be eaten on the bus.
