Leon County and the Tallahassee-Leon County Office of Economic Vitality (OEV) are proud to announce that exhibitor registration is now open for the 11th Annual Leon Works Expo. This unique and exciting event, taking place on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, offers employers the chance to showcase their company to local high school students soon entering the workforce. Businesses are encouraged to register by April 3, 2026, at LeonCountyFL.gov/LeonWorks.
The Leon Works Expo connects hundreds of high school students from the Big Bend region with local employers, offering a unique opportunity to explore careers in various fields including trade, business and information technology, healthcare, and creative arts. Students will network with professionals, learn about career pathways with hands-on exhibits, and discover rewarding job opportunities in their community.
Leon County Government and OEV are committed to connecting students and businesses, allowing for valuable networking and educational opportunities. Since its inception in 2015, Leon Works has focused on educating high school students about high-demand career pathways. These careers offer competitive wages, require no more than a high school diploma or postsecondary certification rather than a four-year degree, and are projected to pay average wages exceeding $22 per hour in Leon County and the surrounding region.
Businesses interested in showcasing their career opportunities and engaging with the next generation of workers can register now at LeonCountyFL.gov/LeonWorks. The registration deadline is April 3, 2026.
