Leon County Board of County Commissioners Reorganization Ceremony Scheduled for November 18

A Reorganization Ceremony for the Leon County Board of County Commissioners will be held on Tuesday, November 18 at 3 p.m. in the Commission Chambers, located on the fifth floor of the Judge Augustus D. Aikens, Jr. Leon County Courthouse, 301 South Monroe Street.

The ceremony will be presided over by Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Gwen Marshall Knight.

During the Reorganization Ceremony, the Board will elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman for the 2025/2026 year.

After the ceremony, the Board will reconvene for its regularly scheduled meeting at 4 p.m.
