At this year's annual retreat, the Leon County Board of County Commissioners will receive an update on the County’s progress toward reaching the organization’s bold goals and five-year targets in the areas of Economy, Environment, Quality of Life, and Governance outlined in the Leon County Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-2026 Strategic Plan. Also, as part of the day, the Board will receive an overview of the County’s leading role and ongoing efforts to celebrate and recognize the community’s 2024 Tallahassee-Leon County Bicentennial Year. Further, the County will unveil and showcase its “200 Years of Representation and Progress” history kiosk, an interactive touchscreen experience highlighting significant County achievements, projects and initiatives by decade, and a historical overview of Leon County.
