Becoming a Lifetime Member

Lifetime Memberships are available to those desiring to make a significant contribution to enhance and expand resources for the Children’s Area of the Library.

The Tree of Knowledge is a beautifully sculptured tree of brass and wood, featured on the first floor of the Library. It was purchased by the Tallahassee Northside Kiwanis. Constructed of over 300 individual leaves and 13 rocks, the Tree of Knowledge will help us develop the strongest possible roots for our youngest citizens.

You can purchase a leaf ($1,000) or a rock ($5,000) to honor your children, grandchildren, relatives or recognize a business or organization. By donating to the Friends of the Library, your gift will become a part of the present and future excellence in educational opportunities for Leon County.
