By 2025, over 68,000 jobs that require more than a high school diploma, but less than a four-year college degree with average wages over $20.00 per hour will be available in Leon County and the surrounding region.  

Leon County Government and the Tallahassee-Leon County Office of Economic Vitality is hosting the 2018 Leon Works Expo to connect employers, academic institutions, and students and provide opportunities for individuals to explore skilled careers. Students will learn from individuals with local success stories and engage with employers in person to discover the career that best fits them.

The Leon Works Expo will be held at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center on Friday, November 2. Students from Leon, Wakulla, and Gadsden counties will attend the Expo to discover the numerous opportunities that the skilled workforce has to offer. Exhibitor registration ends Ocotber 19.

The afternoon session of the Leon Works Expo will feature keynote speaker, Alicia Rainwater, from The Center for Generational Kinetics. She will present, "Bridging the Multi-Generational Gap: Meet the Future Talent" on Friday, November 2 at 1:30 p.m at the Leon Works Expo. The presentation is FREE to all registered exhibitors and $10 for non- exhibitors.
