What encouraged you to work in this career field?
I found that I loved creating food for people. Food is something we can all share and enjoy.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The high-fives. Having people come up to me away from the trucks and tell me that they love my food.

What do you enjoy most about your work?
Creating new things and putting my own twist on classic dishes.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Helping to form the Tallahassee Food Truck Association and getting the opportunity to help other food trucks get on the road.

What motivates you daily?
My love for my family and my love of food.

What education/training does a person need to get started in your field?
A degree in Culinary Arts is helpful, but you can apprentice and learn a lot that way as well. It depends on how you learn.

What advice do you have for those considering entering into a career in your career field?
Work hard and don’t quit. You haven’t had your best day yet.

How does it feel to be living your dream?
Awesome. Just plain awesome.
