What motivated you to become a Director for the Friends of the Library?

I was motivated to join the Friends of the Library by my absolute love of the services the Library provides for our community.

 

What superpowers do you bring to the FOL Board?

The superpower I bring to the FOL Board is strength and far-reaching vision.

 

Where were you born, and how long have you lived in Tallahassee?

I was born in Tallahassee, as was my mom, and I have lived here most of my life.

 

What is your favorite reading genres?

I love reading all genres, I think that Young Adult (YA) fiction tends to be on the top of my reading lists these days.

 

What is your favorite book of all time?

There is no way that I could select a favorite book of all time!

 

Name three recent books you would highly recommend:

  • The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern,
  • Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid
  • All of Helen Oyeyemi books especially Mr. Fox.

 

Do you prefer to read printed books, ebooks or audiobooks?

I love to read all types of books, I love to check out audiobooks from Libby!

 

Where is your favorite place to read?

My favorite place to read is in a comfy chair – especially located in a cabin in the woods.

 

What do you do in your spare time?

What is this “spare time” you ask of?

 

Are you a dog lover or cat lover?

I never thought I would be a dog lover, but I am. We adopted a lovely 3-year-old from the shelter and quickly became a dog lover.
