Wallace Wilfield Williams was born in North Carolina on October 28, 1855. He moved to Florida as a teen and lived as a farmer in the Fort Braden community for more than 50 years. He served as County Commissioner representing District 4 from 1927 to 1928. On February 2, 1931, he died in Tallahassee at age 75 and was laid to rest at the Fort Braden Cemetery.
