Thomas Hendon Cromartie Sr.

Thomas Hendon Cromartie Sr. was born on September 30, 1874, in Leon County, where he lived his life as a farmer. Cromartie was County Commissioner representing District 1 from 1933 until 1936, during which time he was instrumental in getting a new County jail and armory built. He died at his Tallahassee home on September 23, 1948, and is buried at Runner Cemetery.
