Joseph Chaires

Joseph Chaires was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, on December 25, 1811. He served on the Leon County Board of County Commissioners from 1856-1861. Chaires died in Chaires, Leon County, on April 26, 1866. He is buried at Verdura Plantation Cemetery.
