Born in Georgia in 1804, Job Freeman moved his family to Florida in the latter part of the 1820s. He was a farmer in Jefferson, Florida, during the 1830s. He later lived in Leon County beginning in the 1840s. He served on the Leon County Commission from 1845-1847. He died in 1867.
