George Joseph Sullivan

George Joseph Sullivan was born February 6, 1884. He served as County Commissioner for District 5 from January 1925 until his death in May 1932, and four of those years were as Chairman of the Board. Colleagues praised his loyalty and devotion to the people of Leon County as well as his generous, helpful spirit. On May 22, 1932, he died in his Tallahassee home at 48 years old. He is buried in Oakland Cemetery.
