Charles Rollins

Charles H. Rollins was born into slavery in Leon County in 1832. Rollins later became a farmer near Lake Jackson. He served as County Commissioner during Reconstruction from September 23, 1874 until 1877. He was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 1883. He died on August 23, 1919, and is buried in Old City Cemetery.
