Commissioner Jackson has resided in Leon County’s District 2 for 42 years and attended District 2 public schools at Fort Braden, Nims Middle and Godby High School. He continued his District 2 education and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Tallahassee Community College and received his undergraduate and master’s degree from the Florida State University.

Jackson serves students, teachers, parents and families as the Principal of Fort Braden School. He provides sound leadership as documented in his 12 years as an Administrator with Leon County Schools at Fort Braden School. Jackson has also volunteered as a youth league coach for over 20 years in District 2.

Commissioner Jackson raised two daughters, Ashley and Allie.
