Volunteer Fire Truck Round Up

Meet the neighbors who serve at Leon County’s volunteer fire departments and enjoy free food, music and games for kids.

This FREE family-friendly event is held each year in appreciation of Leon County’s volunteer firefighters and features kids activities including: face painting, exploring fire trucks, giveaways and more.

Held on Saturday, October 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tom Brown Park by the dog park, families can visit with the County's six volunteer fire departments, see and tour fire trucks, and take photos with trucks and firefighters.

At 11 a.m., we will announce the Jack Harron Volunteer of the Year for service above self. Chief Harron served 17 years as fire chief and was instrumental in the creation of the annual Volunteer Firetruck Roundup.
