Leon County Celebrates Ten Year Anniversary of Emergency Medical Services
Leon County Government will host a Ten Year Anniversary Celebration event recognizing the past ten years of service provided by Leon County Emergency Medical Services. The event is open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, December 10 at 9am in the Leon County EMS Operations Center, 911 Easterwood Dr. The program will include testimonials from patients saved by the LCEMS team, including a young boy resuscitated in 2006 when he was two-and-a-half weeks old.

Leon County ambulances have been responding to emergency calls in Leon County since LCEMS took over responsibility for emergency medical services on December 31st, 2003.
