Public records requests can be submitted by email, fax, U.S. Mail, in person or by oral request.
Depending on the nature of the citizen's request, the Leon County Community and Media Relations Office may respond with information regarding the request or may route the request to the appropriate department, division, or program.
If in-depth legal research is required, the Community and Media Relations Office will forward the request to the Leon County Attorney's Office and a member of the County Attorney's Office will respond to the citizen directly regarding the request.

Citizens can submit a hand-written or typed-written request to the Leon County Community and Media Relations Office via fax at (850) 606-5301. Please place "Public Records Request" on the fax cover sheet and address to the attention of the "Leon County Community and Media Relations Office".
