Proposed Brookside Village Residential Subdivision

The Brookside Village Residential Subdivision proposes development of 61 single-family detached dwelling units at a gross density of 1.73 dwelling units per acre.  Lot sizes range from 0.14 acres to 2.19 acres. Development is proposed on the upland portions of the 35.17 acre property, with environmentally sensitive areas being preserved in conservation easements.  The site is located inside the Urban Services Area, is zoned Residential Preservation and has a Residential Preservation designation on the Future Land Use Map of the Tallahassee-Leon County Comprehensive Plan.

The project is being reviewed through the Type “B” site and development plan process (FDPA Track) with the Development Review Committee (DRC) providing final disposition for Type 'B' applications. A DRC Meeting for the Brookside Village Residential Subdivision will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of the Renaissance Building located at 435 N. Macomb Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301. The DRC meeting is open to public attendance and testimony. All written comments received before the meeting will be forwarded to the DRC for consideration.
